[conversation between Lord Kiyori and his 6year old grandson, Genji]

Lord Kiyori: I have the power of seeing the future, your uncle has it, and you will soon also have it.
Lord Genji: Does that mean I can avoid the bad things that may happen to me in the future?
Lord Kiyori: Knowing does not mean you can avoid things.
Lord Genji: Then what's the use of knowing before they happen?
Lord Kiyori: It is not a matter of usefullness or not, nor is it a matter of being able to choose or not. They are all side-stories and not the essence. They can blur your thoughts instead of clearing it. Blessing or curse, wanted or not, YOU HAVE IT. You cannot ignore it for it would mean ignoring your own mind. You can either utilize it or it will utilize you...
