phrase of the day: "If they cannot comprehend that we did not do this for the money, then they will never be able to be successful in their attempt(s).."

The first part of the sentence struck home when Mr.J said it. I cannot write down his full name coz it wud cause a polemic n endanger both our parties. I wish I cud write his name since it wud b n honor since not many people are able 2meet let alone speak with him.. yesterday i happened 2pass by n asked 4his availability.. he was in a meeting but was willing 2c me. btw u'd kno who he is if u read news on current indonesian internet conditions,especially on detik :) anywho.. back to the phrase.. those words are said by the fortunate few who enjoys their work.. and are usually successful (which is true in this case)...

This logic is very contradictory. how can some1 do something not for the money, and yet still b filthy rich? those that are in it for the money sometimes also get rich, but r usually not happy.. people like Mr.J (i'd state some more people,but it'd b 2risky hehe ), not only enjoy their work, they dont look for the money, and yet the money is there! he just freed a very important tool in our internet service from capitalism. he made it free.. but how can he make a living out of that? many of his services are free, and yet he can somehow always make the money come.. a businessman with a concience..

A secret he thought me was (one of those enlightment days) "dont be greedy" if people think ur greedy, then dats d end 4u. but how can u get money if u only ask for little? "there are many ways to make money", he said. "clear ur mind and b open 2different dimentions of a market.. dont focus and deplete a target market".. so we've been trying 2take his advice n yet sometimes i still falter thinking "we cudve gotten much more out of dat deal" and such.. good thing i met him again n shared stories yesterday.. he gave so much advice n information dat i wished i'd ask his advice so long ago coz it wudve been so much easier, n yet im glad i didnt coz thru d xperience, ive gained so much..

A man who if given a cigarette company to run, would increase cigarette consumption of Indonesians by many times over... haha coz he'd give the cigarettes 4free! he 1nce told me how 2make it possible n still make large profits haha.. Mr.J is a man who's usually behind d scene (except d last couple o weeks when he turned into a celebrity huehehe) has made it cheaper for us to access the internet. not cheap as in access cost, but a much faster access speed.. so cheap in the value sense. and he did it all with help from friends all for free.. but how does he gain financial value from this action? this he just smiled n did not share his secret.. and i wudnt bother him wit questions about it since its just a matter of time till the rippling effect starts.. hehe here's 2u Mr.J
